Replace non-existent customer’s contact with dedicated one
Based on our senders’ feedback, we have designed a way not to share their recipients contacts without any major changes to the current implementation.
- Sender will have the following possibility to provide recipient contact as:
- +XXX 000000000 (country code [XXX] followed by zeros according to the country format)
- nomail@packeta.com
Release date: 7. May 2024
The reasons and risks involved
At Packeta, we strongly believe that senders know best what is most important to their customers. That’s why we give senders the option of not sharing their customers’ personal contact information in a way that is acceptable to both parties.
Non-existent (or even worse, existing but fake) data disrupts the communication process and thus the satisfaction of our ordinary customers. As we are unable to verify the accuracy of the data on our side, this system has been designed, which can be considered as “controlled non-disclosure”.

We will not send any communication to these contact details
We respect the senders’ decision not to share this data, whatever the reasons. However, it should be emphasized that not providing this information to Packeta will result in the inability to contact the recipient in the manner chosen, which in some scenarios could affect the deliverability of packet.
If you are planning to use this type of contacts (or if you are already using contacts that do not exist), do not hesitate to contact our technical support with any questions. We will be happy to help you find the best solution for your needs. You can find technical support contact information in your Client section under the user support tab.
