Termination of obsolete feed and widgets versions
We’ve decided to selectively retire the deprecated parts of our system used for PUDO selection. This change will affect old versions of the Packet widget as well as old branch feeds. We usually try to make such changes without impacting the end user, but in this case it cannot be avoided in some cases.

Why we are terminating these services?
Unsupported feeds and widget versions are no longer up-to-date and do not provide you with important information. The absence of this information can complicate the creation of shipments or the customer experience of the recipients.
Will branch feed v4 be affected?
No. Nothing is changing for v4 feed users at the moment. However, we are marking branch feed v4 as obsolete and therefore we will not develop it further. So if you are using any of the versions v1, v2, v3, we recommend switching directly to the v5 feed, which is more detailed and divides the original feed into several categories.
For v4 users, no action is required.
Will Packeta e-shop modules be affected?
It can. If you are using latest version of our e-shop module solution (for example modules for WooCommerce, PrestaShop etc.), everything will be working just fine. However, if you haven’t updated your e-shop module in the past year, we strongly recommend to do so.
Will third-party solutions be affected?
It can. Third-party solution is considered to be any e-shop platform, which does not use module developed by Packeta. If you are using third party solution, we strongly recommend contacting your provider to make sure this change will not affect your integration.
Will custom solutions be affected?
Most likely yes. If you are using custom solution, we strongly recommend checking your integration or pass this information to your IT department, so they can ensure continued functionality. We are unable to support custom solutions, therefore responsibility for correct use is transmitted to user of such a solution.
